I absolutely fell in love with these shadowbox diecuts when I saw the first post from CHA back in January! So when Jan posted this 3D Crafty Secrets/Heartwarming Vintage challenge on Papercraft Planet, I had to jump on it! Jan sent me this gorgeous gold sheen diecut and I went to town. All of the gold pieces shown are part of the diecut kits. These diecuts can be decorated on both sides and closed to mail or hand deliver. But I did mine as a diorama, so it will remain open, and the backside is not decorated. The Crafty Secrets "Love" image on the left panel was embossed with gold EP onto ivory vellum then attached over a piece of CS from DCWV Luxury stack. The frame around it and behind it were stamped with Crafty Secrets Flourishes using Distress Ink. Ditto for the right panel. The center image from this site was printed from my computer, then image was cut/embossed with Spellbinders Labels 10 and attached on foam tape. The sentiments were printed from my computer, cut/embossed with Spellbinders Labels 10 and Fancy Tags dies, then sponged. Both were attached on foam tape. Embellishments on left panel: Prima roses misted with Glimmer Mist, punched leaves, Spellbinders Renaissance Heart charm with Stickles. Center panel: More Prima roses, punched leaves, Spellbinders Doodleparts swirl with rhinestone, cameo charm, Liquid Pearls on scallop. Right panel: Yep, another Prima rose, punched leaves, and flat back pearls.
Last February I had offered some blog candy in conjunction with another event that was going on. This time around I decided to offer some blog candy as a celebration. This past Thursday I had my second annual PET CT scan. As with last year, this scan was free of any signs of recurrent cancer, making this my third year to be cancer free! [Doing the happy dance]. So to celebrate...CANDY!!!
Here are the rules:
- Become a follower of my blog and post this blog candy on your blog, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win. Leave a comment letting me know you’ve done both, so that I can verify and put your name in the basket. If you are already a follower, post the candy on your blog and let me know, and you're entered.
- The blog candy will run until 3/31/10 at midnight CST. If you come back and leave comments on any subsequent posts after this starts and up to the deadline, you will be entered for another chance to win for each post you comment on (one comment per individual post, please). I plan to get back into the action and remember to post what I've made. I've been forgetting to do that. :(
- The winner will be chosen by random draw on 4/1/10 and will be posted on my blog that day. Please check back that day to see if you are the winner, and if you are you will have 72 hours to respond via e-mail with your address so I can get your goodies shipped out. If the candy is not claimed in that time, I will select another winner.
Here’s a list of what is included with the blog candy:
Cuttlebug Asian Bundle. Includes (4) 5 x 7 embossing folders, (4) 4.25 x 5.75 folders. These are gorgeous!

Ultimate Crafter's Companion - This was given to me as a gift, but I have only used it once just to check it out. I already have The Enveloper from this same company, a Scor-Pal, and then was more recently given Martha Stewart's score board, so really don't need another item that does all the same things sitting around collecting dust, so I've decided to add it to this blog candy.

I ran the cardstock through my CB with a new folder I got at Custom Crops. I added some Fruit Punch Stickles to the stars for a little bling. Stamped the sentiment from Crafty Secrets Glamour Girls set, cut that out with scalloped rectangle Nestabilities, inked the edges and attached. This was about a ten minute card. Took longer to pick out the colors, sentiment, etc. : ) I've made four other cards this past week, two sympathy and two get well cards, but could not post them since I didn't have my camera and they need to get mailed.
