I was roaming blogville checking out different challenges. I knew I wanted to use this sketch from Pixie Cottage and when I found the color scheme at The Play Date Cafe challenge, I knew which stamp I wanted to use. I've had this beauty for several years but have never used it. It's a big image, 4.25 x 5", so it was either make a really big card, or... 
So I went with the or. : ) I got this frame in the clearance section at Hobby Lobby for $3, because the glass was broken. It's outer measurement is 15" square with the inner photo portion being 8" square. It had a different mat around the outer border as well as another smaller inner mat, both of which I removed. I used DCWV Lace and Linen stack for the outer border and background of the inner part. I stamped the image with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink, found a couple other DP's in my stash, and inked all the borders with Frayed Burlap. The image is mounted on foam tape. The lace and the ribbon were left over from dresses I made for my daughter when she was little (about 15 years ago) "aged" them both with Distress Inks. Added a few pearls and put it back in the frame. Now I just need to get a new piece of glass for it and it's ready to hang! Challenges
