Left-overs aren't just for dinner anymore! I won't admit to how many paper scraps I keep, but I've gotten better at tossing the itsy bits into the recycle bin. I cut the rectangular aperture from this card, and that left-over rectangle was perfect for a Christmas tag for Joan's weekly tag challenge. I trimmed all the way around with deckle edge scissors, cutting the upper corners off as well. I used some of the same felt poinsettias I used on the card and added Stickles and Dew Drops to them. I love this owl image by Inkadinkado. I stamped it with Versamark and embossed with red glitter EP with a little gold EP added. It doesn't look very good in the picture, but IRL it's really pretty! I dyed and wadded some seam binding and using it for the hanger.

Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous!
Nancy, this is really pretty, I love your owl stamp...and great use of your scraps.
What a beautiful tag Nancy. I agree that is a pretty owl image. I never think to emboss in red and it is so pretty. I also like your seam binding for the hanger. Thanks for joining us again in the Tag Challenge at Joan's Gardens.
