Stamp Simply 151

Three cards in two days, hope that means the mojo is coming back!  I made this card for my mother, to give to my son for his birthday, which was yesterday.  Oops, Gramma forgot.  Tyler understands, considering his Gramma, my own sweet mother, forgets her own kids' birthdays.  Nothing pathological, she has just always been that way.  I saw Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge late last night, so I got up early this morning to make this card for my mom to give to Tyler.  The challenge is a one-layer card.  thankfully, can use some embellishments, so I added some brads to the Kraft CS I embossed with this Tim Holtz folder.  Added some distress ink to the embossing and used it for the sentiment.  Voila...quick and easy and done in less than 10 minutes!

That's a neat card too! How did you get it to look like wood? Guess if I sat down with you and looked at your stuff, I'd know, huh? :) I bet Tyler really liked this one too.
See you at the river tomorrow!
