This week's House Mouse Challenge is to make something for a mother. It doesn't have to be for our own mom, it can be for a friend, aunt, daughter, neighbour, anyone who's a mom. I went straight to this stamp, because it reminded me of our little family when I was growing up. Before my mom married my step-dad (whom I called Daddy), there was some major penny pinching, and she came up with some pretty, uh...unusual meals. :) I've even done that a few times since we've been on our own in the last six years. Got a respectful request from my kids to "Please don't make that again". hee hee! This image is called "I Don't Do Bugs". Stamped with Stazon and colored with Prismas. Layered with different DP from My Mind's Eye. Sponged around the circle and added Stickles to the centers. Flowers in lower corner are made with MS hydrangea punch, sponged, curled and Stickled in the middle. Mom is from Kitchen Sink set. Lower sentiment I did as a rub-on from my computer. Oh, I thought the scrapping sketch on Papercraft Planet was cute, so followed that and made a card. Stamps: House Mouse I Don't Do Bugs, Kitchensink Stamps.
